Partnerships and Knowledge Mobilization Specialist

Nicole is a communications and engagement professional with extensive experience supporting research programs internationally.

She joined CIC in May 2026 where she provides strategic partnerships and communications support. As Partnerships and Knowledge Mobilization Specialist of the OnSPARK LTC Data Platform, Nicole supports OnSPARK’s engagement with long-term care homes and sector partners.

Recently, Nicole spent 3 years working at the University of Edinburgh on an animal disease research project funded by the Scottish Government. Her work included communication for academics, farmers and steering groups, and fostering partnerships and collaboration among stakeholders, researchers and government partners.  

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Law from Carleton University, an Ontario Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Mohawk College, and an MSc in Strategic Communications and Public Relations from Queen Margaret University in Scotland.
