A research initiative that best exemplifies this approach is OnSPARK, Canada’s largest long-term care data-sharing network. OnSPARK empowers long-term care homes with near real-time insights to support quality improvement, research, and policy innovation.

Research Projects

  • OnSPARK (Ontario Supporting Partnerships to Advance Care and Knowledge) is a sector-governed, multi-institution led, learning health system (LHS) data platform. Real-world data from long-term care (LTC) are integrated to support continuous quality improvement and innovation for LTC residents and workers.
