Justin’s Work in Integrated Care
“Many older adults are living with frailty and multiple chronic conditions, and they're often facing the challenge of dealing with declining cognitive and functional abilities. Many have increased care requirements and are simply just that much more vulnerable to adverse health outcomes. And this is placing greater demand and pressure on healthcare systems, and we need to change and reimagine how we deliver care to adequately meet their needs. At the same time, I think we're also in an era of significant technological advancement with opportunities to leverage new digital tools and electronic health data in unprecedented ways. Whether it's creating a more integrated patient health record, applying artificial intelligence, or even adopting virtual communication or remote monitoring technologies, research into how we can best utilize this technology and data is really crucial to improve patient care. “
